Better Drafting Tools When Working In a Drafting View

I would love it if when we go to a "Drafting View" that the ribbon would change and give us more efficient tools like what is on the AutoCAD ribbon.

Trying to draw a simple schematic in a Drafting View is slow and tedious.

What would be even better is some how integrating Revit and Acad into one so you can have the best of both worlds and keep all of the files, sheets, views, etc in one platform.

Maybe something like switching from a Revit "Work Space" to and Acad "Work Space" to have the tools needed for the job.

Agreed AutoCAD is very poor for 3d and BIM type workflows but as a drafting too it wins hands down, which is why so many people still use it. In the UK there is a term "Draffies Licence" meaning thet the draftsman adjusts the reality of a detail to better convey the design intent. for instance we space our cladding components such as panels and flashings so that we can show the sealants that go between them, so that the installers know exactly how to assemble the components.
