Automatic geometric join priotities

Automatic geometric join priotities

Currently Structural Columns with concrete behavior cuts Structural Framing with concrete behavior. What if this priority could be changed by settings in the project.  There is of course the switch join order, but excessive use of this can result in cavities, this tool does not cut it for medium to large projects.

Global object priorities like in Allplan isn't necessary the best choice. It works great for simple geometry. But it may result in unexpected results when joining complex geometry (like multi-layered walls, multiple-membered joints, etc).

Priorities (for concrete elements) in Revit are made in certain order demanded by the analytical model: frames cannot "cut" columns as it would result in discontinued columns along the structure height (meaning structural failure).

Our contractors demand beams to have a higher geometric priority above columns. Revit does not seem to enterfere with analytical model in any way. The only thing that must be done is tedious switch join order. The columns still goes from level to level, and the beam still from column to column.
