API access to Linework tool (get and set edge/line overrides)
I want to be able to use the API to determine existing Linework tool overrides to elements, as well as being able to set (or reset) them.
I recently came across a drawing with a bunch of framing lineworked. I wanted to match the same style on added framing, but now I have to go through the list of Line Styles and guess...
The development team respond: Thanks for putting together the links! It looks like there is a gap here in the API. We didn't expect it to be an important workflow for API users - setting line-weights feels like a very graphical thing... but it looks like it is needed after all! We will review.
Just to bump this. It is a very graphical thing and that's the issue - inexperienced users set lines to invisible that maybe shouldn't be and then when I run an audit script it's something I can't check for. A single missing line can be surprisingly costly once in construction!
