@hanslammerts To answer your question about "The Factory", it is referring to the Revit development "factory". Participants in our Preview Release (beta) program are invited to attend "Inside the Factory" sessions and work alongside our teams testing features in development. Hope that helps! Let me know if you would like more information on how to become involved!
I see now. 'Inside the factory' indeed was the respons to the open letter and disappointed users. Still, as Autodesk is bigger than Revit BIM the factory should be more than a marketing reaction for just one of the products. Still waiting for a idea station for AutoCAD. Do consider a 'factory approach' as well.
Thank you, @hanslammerts , actually ITF events have been going on for a very long time (I did my first in 2015). Before that they were called "Revit Gunslinger" events. We certainly appreciate all of the feedback that we get, both positive and negative, and are working to make Revit better all around.
For AutoCAD, the AUGI Wish List is still active and is accessible by the Autodesk teams as well. But I will certainly pass along your request!
Give it a name. At least Revit has more engagement with its users. AutoCAD, that other factory product has zero. Last time i checked that Augi AutoCAD 'wish' list has a obscure payed membership to pass over A WISH to the factory. Augi stands 100% full away from Autodesk itself. What wishes we're implemented? What i'm saying AutoCAD doesn't have any normal feedback channel. Pass that through. Doubt it will change anything.
@hanslammertsI believe "The Factory" is what the original Revit users called the developers even before Autodesk bought them... Also, though there are also paid membership tiers, AUGI basic membership is free, including posting & annual wishlist voting.
@m.voss.alvine There is an issue with the forums. The Implemented status has vanished on several boards. We are working with support to get them restored.
