I've faced this many times and I think it's about time we have this option/ability.
while I am in sketch mode, for a floor, roof, wall profile, or even mass or any item that requires me to step into a dedicated sketch mode. sometimes I face a problem where an item is standing in the way of my sketch or blocking/hiding a part of the plan like an appliance or another wall or something.
right now as far as I know I have to finish my sketch (even if it means to just close the loop in any way), go to the view, hide/clean/move the object and then edit the sketch again.
I hope we can have an option to hide, unhide elements in the view while I am inside the sketch mode. this will save so much time and help get things done from the first time.
