Allow Revit model to project into 2d drafting line
Instead of export Revit view to CAD and then reimport the CAD line into Revit, it would be nice Revit has the ability to take 3d model and project them into drafting lines. This allows user to create 2d without using line and pick the edge one by one. For family creation, this is a huge time saving.
Just freeze drawing and sketch what you need using Linework tool. Then duplicate the drawing and sketch some more (alternatives). Freezing will detach the drawing from the 3d model, so there is NO undo possible. If you mistake your sketch, you will have to repeat the freezing from the beginning and sketch again (hopefully the right way).
