Add Prefix or Suffix Type Parameters to Type Name Field for

Hi Everyone,

Our workflow in creating an identity for a Window is as Such FamilyName : Typename

(e.g.)                                                                                                Glazed Suite A : 3000W x 2700 W (GT.01)

When creating a glazing schedule and utilizing legend component views. The dropdown box of 'component type' only shows the family and type name.

As we are creating windows by type, it would be really really helpful if we can add a prefix or suffix to the type name to include the "Type Mark" parameter, specifically.

This will allow us to easily search for the type mark in legend views or even the project browser. As essentially we are forced to manually create a type mark in the Type name field which can cause errors if both the type mark or the type name hasn't been updated.

Thoughts??

@mmclean4U7JV I don't know if this helps your situation, but I use prefixes for my windows and doors using a shared text parameter.  You can then use the combined parameter tool in your schedule to create  "Prefix+Type Name"
Is that what you were thinking?
