Add Built‑In Functionality to List Excluded Members in a Group

Hi,

When working with Revit Groups, elements can be excluded at the instance level. Revit provides the “Restore All Excluded” button, and it’s possible to TAB‑select ghosted elements to restore them individually — but in practice this becomes very time‑consuming for larger groups or in complex models.

What’s missing:
There is currently no built‑in way to see a list of which elements are excluded from a specific Group instance. Because of this, users must manually hunt for ghosted elements in the model, which is inefficient and prone to errors.

Idea / Request:
Please add a native Revit feature that allows users to view a list of all excluded members of a Group instance.
This could be as simple as:

  • A dialog listing the excluded elements
  • A selectable list to restore specific items (not only “Restore All”)
  • A view filter or browser category for excluded items
  • A panel in the Group editor that shows which members are excluded in each instance

Important:
I’m specifically looking for a built‑in Revit solution — not an API workaround, Dynamo graph, or external tool.

This would greatly improve QA/QC, coordination, and general usability when working with Groups.
