I am voting for this, but I am going to add... We can scale fill patterns as they are loaded into the project, but then we cannot update that scale if we imported it at a wrong scale. The ability to change/edit a fill pattern scale after it is imported so that you don't need to re-import and create a new fill pattern type is what is needed here I think.
This is a small change that would go a long way in increasing usability. Just like RicWeber said: we can do it on important but we cannot it change later.
We try to store the original .pat files so we can reimport them at a different scale but often times we don't have the original .pat file (just the revit filled regions).
We should be able to modify the scale of the fill patterns. Right we have to reload the .pat file (if we know where it is), if we don't know the location, it wastes a lot of time.
The free HatchKit Add-In for Revit allows the creation of scaled and rotated fills from fills already loaded to the project without reference to the original external .PAT file.
THANK YOU!!! wow, if you only released this update in 2018.2 I would still be just as happy! You have just saved a lot of people A LOT of time and messing around.
Thanks to the development team that worked on this one.... freaking awesome!
