3d modeling in Revit should be as intuitive, as fun and fast as sketchup

3d modeling in Revit should be as intuitive, as fun and fast as sketchup

We need a 3d modeling option for steel detailers or for other trades to model directly in 3d like in sketchup:

- anchor points on elements/objects for move and also rotate

- fast and intuitive 3d on fly measurements

- better and at a click visibility presets ( see tekla concrete, steel visibility presets) ( I don't want to work in black and white in a 3d modeling software, give me colors out of the box for faster workflows)

Basically, make 3d modeling in Revit fun. I want to fly first, be creative and then I want to be very very specific and no I don't want autodesk forma, formit, rhino. I want it all to happen in revit.

Another ideea is to let us model push pull and offsets like in sketchup and then after I'm done jerking around with multiple volumes, then I can say this volume is a beam, that one is a column, this is a door or a brick or smth like that.

Steel detailers, arch viz, fast beggining iterations, even other trades could really benefit for something like this.

knowledge Revit needs faster, intuitive 3D tools like push-pull, smart anchors, and real-time measurements. A more visual, flexible workflow would boost creativity, speed, and efficiency for designers and detailers alike.
