3D Align like AutoCAD

3D Align like AutoCAD

Revit requires the ability to 3D align family like Generic Models that may not be on a regular XYZ planes Based of 3 points. Current methodology is very restrictive in this regard, especially when XY, XZ & ZY angles are unknown.

A real world example is I have received a model with multiple none planer points and I have been required to fit some generic models to these points to best fit. Due to the restrictions of Revit I have had to do this exercise in AutoCAD. Bringing this back into Revit when I create floor plans, elevations and sections due to the way AutoCAD geometry works in Revit I see the whole object even in a section. I have not taken it into a family first(generic model), this has been a direct AutoCAD import/link. Further to this exporting the families in AutoCAD turns all surfaces into mesh surfaces, so know the whole thing looks like its made of thin paper with voids inside  instead of solid geometry.

@ToanDN Tried this as per your suggestion. My requirements seem to complex for this and had no success. 3D alignment like AutoCAD will easily resolve.
