You place 2 concrete Slabs first
Then you connect with either of the following

Normally I would simply draw floor slab. Set it to drop depth + floor thickness.
Once you have the floor drawn, then use join geometry
Any approaches above are feasible. It depends on your design to choose which one:
- if the thickness of the vertical is constant and the height varies among the drops in your project, then using walls is easier and you only need one wall type
- if the thickness varies, height is constant, then using floors is easier with one floor type
- if both thickness and height are constant, then using a profile based approach (slab edges, beams) for consistency
