why i can't save my project file

In a new hp laptop, windows 10, hp pavillion, hp 17-g121wm,  I installed revit 2017, but when I tried to save using the icon in the shortcut, it sends me a error message, then if a close the file and save it works, !!!??. I don´t want to be forced to close the file every time I want to save my work. I tried repair, reinstall and even uninstall a re install the revit. I´ve installed service pack 1 also. an still have the same problem. what can I do??, please help

This is also a Windows error. May not be a Revit related.

Hey @gabrielr

you can start by trying SP2 for Revit 2017 see if it sorts out the issue...if not, then you can check other suggestions on the following thread which was posted at the same time as yours

... Aber was, wenn Revit nur Englisch spricht ? Will die deutsche Hilfe ?

@barthbradley (Smile) Revit does speak French, Chinese, German, Spanish and many other languages besides English : o) sometimes one needs to keep all options open...anyhow; I hope the OP managed in resolving the issue he was having

I ´m working locally, windows 10 brand new, revit 2017 with sp2, antivirus an firewall stopped, and same problem may be less severe, I guess is just windows 10 and revit lack of comunication, it saves the file but you have to insist 3 o 4 times before it saves the file

sp2 didnt help, I guess is a windows 10 vs revit 17 issue, Ill wait for revit 2018...
