view template makes walls seem semi transparent

I can't for the life of me find the parameter that makes this happen.    2 stock templates:  one makes the walls show thru interior architectural model elements - does anyone know what parameter this is???

  • edit the View template
  • V/G Override Model
    • make sure the checkbox on the far right is checked...
  • scroll down to Walls
  • override the transparency column

It could be in the view template, see above to find that. But if it's not the settings, from time to time a view get's a little buggy... Then the issue might resolve itself if you recreate the elevation.

Tried that, everything is zero transparncy.   I tried turning off transparency across the whole Walls line.

Sound like one only element's graphic display is being affected.  Select the transparent element, right-click and check for any VG overrides by element.

By chance, do you have any filters activated in that view template?

...you sure it's a transparency and not a material such as Glass?

Turn off Import Categories for the faulty view template.

I gave up and copied a template the works and just adjusted scale.   Mystery.

There would be no mystery if you could share the file instead of the images.

Is there a way to send privately.?   We don't want to post an entire project.

You could copy the element and the view template into a blank project and post that.
