title block trouble

Hi

I am trying to create my own title block. As you see the picture below, when I change the "width" to 600 it pushes the line to the right. Then I have to move the block names to the right which is inconvenient. Is it possible to move the line to the left when I change the width parameter instead of dragging the ref line?

Make group with reference lines and Align that as attachment.

Thanks for your reply.

That's a nice trick.  I guess it's not possible to move only to the left.

Pin the right border line.

Hi @spoonkim,

Yes it's possible to keep the right in place and have the left side move.

Only place a reference plane on the right side and delete the one on the left side. (should not need to pin the right ref. plane)

Attach the width dim to the right refplane and the left titleblock line (and constrain any element that should be kept aligned to the right)

ps. Also make sure the reference plane is never outside the titleblock bounds, it's reported size will else be off, and could misprint depending use print settings.

Hi @TripleM-Dev.net

That's good one too! Not sure why it works though. 🤔

Thanks
