Straight roof cut

Hello,

 

How can I make roof corner like that?

Several ways depending on how you created the roof ... Roof: By footprint/Extrusion or Face

Option 1: If by footprint (similar to the one you have) do the following

  1. Select roof and change Rafter Cut to "Two Cut - Plumb
  2. Change the Facia Depth to value as desired (See how I determined in the GIF below)
  3. Add a Beam (same material as the Roof) -
  4. use 3D snapping and Pick edge of the roof
  5. Change Y Justification of the Beams as necessary (Origin/Center/Left/Right) to align to roof
  6. Join Geometry (check multiple) >> Pick roof then the beams

 

Other Options: instead of the Beam you can use

  • Roof Facia 
  • In Place Extrusion

An alternative method to the above is to create the roof by Extrusion (See GIF below)

Works also using Roof by Face but not as clean as the above

That was quick answer, Thank you once again, In my case second method is must suitable for end roof polishing.
