'Some products are not installed' Revit 2024

Since the Autodesk helpdesk is of no use, I'll ask it here.
Does anyone know how to fix the issue 'Some products are not installed' for Revit 2024.
I'd like to add my setup.log file to this post, but I can't find it anywhere.

I believe I've tried 15 times already in various ways, I'm getting really desperate...

Sounds like you are have a tough time unfortunately!

Obviously this is what Autodesk recommends an i would have to suggest trying these thing too.

"Installation complete. Some products failed to install." during installation of an Autodesk product

But i have had to run a few of these in the past and the only solution was to ensure the uninstall is done using the following;

Always use the Microsoft Uninstall Tool (it is called something different now) as this seems to clean up the messes left behind via Add/Remove method.  you may need to search around to find it as they push you down another route called troubleshooter now but it should be there somewhere via a google Search.

When reinstalling ALWAYS use the Browser Method as this gets around any connectivity issues, below is a great link and save me cutting and pasting

How to use the Browser Download method for Autodesk products (imaginit.com)

I really hope this solve your issues but if you are struggling try your reseller of the software or a local reseller they are always a great resource

I tried both browser and download method again, and now I bump into error 4000 with both. There's some posts online about this, but they could not fix my issues

I still haven't been able to fix this, can someone please help. The official Autodesk helpdesk is of no use either...

Did you do the uninstall as suggested above?

What I found is that it was discontinued in 2018, I didn't find a first party alternative.

Did you try to uninstall and reinstall?

Yes, I think I'm up to 30 tries now...

for extra info:

When trying to install using a custom installation I get the error: ‘some products are not installed’

When using the download method, I get the error 4000.

When using the install method, I also get the error 4000.

Does the install finish and have you tried opening Revit?

Do you know which products are not getting installed? Maybe you didn't select them or  even need them.

It doesn't finish with download and browser method, it goes to about 25% and then rolls back, uninstalling everything again.

With the custom install the installation does finish and everything is installed, exept for Revit itself...

I think you should be over in the Installation and Licensing forum. There are some helpful and intelligent people over there.
