Sheet index with headers for each discipline

Is there a way to have the sheet discipline shown as a  Header in the sheet index? ( like the way ARCHITECTURE is shown as a header) Other Disciplines models are linked to our model and they don't have the Discipline identified in the sheet properties. I'm using Revit 2020 and we are using Bim360 -not sure if this matters -

Select the Link in one of the Project Views and look under its Properties. See "Name"? That's where you you type in the name of the Discipline the Link represents.

I have one more question, Now I have all the disciplines show up as headers but the issue is they are not in correct order. I want them in this order: Arch, Struct, Mech, Plumb, Elec and Sec but the way it is sorting them either Ascending or Descending , it makes them in an alphabetic order which is not what I want. I don't want to add numbers in front of each Revit link name to make them in proper order. How can this issue be solved? Thank you all

Use Filter Tab filtering rules.

You need a separate Discipline Order similar to below.

Use @ToanDN 's approach. Create a Project Parameter (maybe called "Sort Order")  and assign it the RVT Links category.  Then enter a alpha or numeric value into the parameter field for each Link and then Sort by this Parameter in the Sheet List (Ascending or Descending). You can hide the Parameter Field column so it doesn't appear on the  Sheet List.

...hmm? I think that's what @ToanDN did.

So I need to ask all different consultants to have the same PROJECT PARAMETER- in this case named "Sheet Discipline"- in their models. Then have all their sheets "Sheet Discipline" parameter say their Discipline e.g. Civil, Structural ,,, This way, when I populate the sheet index, each consultant's sheets show up under their relative discipline. Is this correct?

If you would have read what has been posted on the first page of your thread, you would have  done the above from the very beginning!!!.

One has to admit this is one entertaining Thread
