Revit 2020 in Viewer Mode ?

I was asked by the Twitter support team to post it here, so here goes.

I downloaded and installed Revit 2020 today and as every year I am excited to see the new stuff. But the first ting I noticed is that I can not save a project or a family and Revit pops up with a message telling me I'm in Viewer Mode (see attached image). I already tried logging out and back in again and of course rebooted my workstation as well.

Any idea what going on?

I need the Revit 2020 Viewer mode. Anybody, please help me to get this application as soon as possible. It would be great if someone shares images about downloading procedures.

There is nothing special about getting the viewer. Just get the trial version and after the trial is over, you sill only have access to viewer mode.

Once the Revit product is installed, you will see Revit Viewer shortcut in the windows start menu.  Revit Viewer is just a mode in which Revit is running without the ability to save, export, etc.  More details on Viewer Mode can be found at: http://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2021/ENU/?guid=GUID-9577CB78-34FD-4AFB-8E92-3C8E2890CCB4

this is definitely not solved. I have the same issue right now. Definitely not in Revit Viewer but i cannot print from an active RVT file (2020). I checked my subscription and it is active and assigned. haven't experienced this problem until today.

What you should say is that it is not solved for you.

I would suggest that you start a new thread and include what you have tried so far, since the solutions checked here do not work for you.
