There are "Existing" and "New" phases.

These are shown in Manage-Phases window (names are in finish).

-created wall ( It becomes Phase New as normally)

-select the wall

-I want to change Phase Created -> Existing in properties window

-> but there are no other than current phase on list, and the little arrow pointing down is greyed out.

(same happens with  doors, windows and also view etc)

This happens in existing drawings and new ones.

View has setting "Show All"

HP Z Book Laptop, Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, 16Gb ram, 512GbSSD, Nvidia Quadro M2000M

Revit 2017 and SP1 installed. Computer is new and has been installed about week ago.

How to get Phase Created list populated ?

I hope someone has Idea what has happaned.

Hello,  Is this a new template from the 2017 content or an older template?

If you haven't already, try creating a new project from a different template.

If this works, I would then open your template file directly to see if Revit detects any issue.

I have tried with several drawings, new created in 2017 and old, no help.

I installed new latest Nvidia drivers and problem solved!

Problem reappeared today after half day of work.

The system has external display marked second display and primary in Nvidia control panel.

I found out that when the Revit is active on Laptop display is ok and list wokrs.

But when running on external monitor the list lost!?Smiley Mad

Couple times the list has appeared even on the other side of screen on monitor.

So the problem exists and seem to be somekind of bug on Nvidia driver-compiler-Revit axis.

Any ideas how to fix?

jaako-

This seems to be a similar (if not identical) issue reported with windows 10 with laptop/external monitor configuration.

Hi jaako, A potential solution is to set both laptop and external monitor to use native resolution for each?    You can access this by right clicking on your desktop and choose Screen Resolution.  For each display listed, set the resolution to which ever has "(recommended)"  next to it.   I look forward to hear if this helps to fix the issue.  Thank you.

Hi

Monitor and laptop screen are HD so 1920x1080 is used on both.

Hello Jaako-

Thank you for the information.  It seems this topic is covered on the other post too.  If you agree, please accept this as a solution and we can track the issue here:

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-architecture/pull-down-menus-not-working/td-p/5822315

On the thread, the condition was fixed when they adjusted the laptop scaling.  This is a workaround but it would be good to know if this works in your situation as well.

Thank you!

No solution found yet.

I cannot use both external monitor and laptop screen as extented desktop,

because some pulldown list are missing on Revit 2017 Properties window.

Everytlhing seems fine when screens have the duplicate content.

Screen and monitor are both native HD. Nvidia drivers updated.

Only Revit seems to be affected software, which might indicate Revit Bug?
