Building Design Suite Premium 2017 Installation faulty

We have installed 200 x 2017 Building Design Suite Premiums from both reseller content as well as the dongles that we have received from Autodesk. In all, the content libraries and family templates are installed for wrong versions. On some, we even found 2013 Revit Templates. So every time you create a new family, the family template needs to upgrade. What is going on Autodesk?

When installing, please ensure you download the content from the web as Autodesk seemed to have realized their mistake and fixed it.

Apart from that, we have had issues with upgrading Revit 2016 projects in terms of text and spline families (just like everybody else). Any news on a service pack that will fix all these issues? Service Pack 1 does not fix anything apart from typing texts.

We've ran into this issue on 30+ of our lab machines... It seems you installed the first release of the Suite, which I agree had some issues. That being said, I recommend uninstalling and downloading the media from the Virtual Agent and reinstalling from that media. Not sure how many machines you have installed this on, so you'll need to make a decision as to if it's worth it or not.

To reiterate, this issue exists in the first release of the installer package, however, its been fixed in the current downloads.

The content files do not come with the installation files and are actually downloaded from the web during the install process. The BDSP or BDSU setup files that I downloaded since April have been installed a few times on company computers without a problem .... until recently, where they have been downloading Revit 2016 templates.

I also heard from colleagues about a few months back about getting 2013 templates.

I don't believe in upgrading Revit templates and I do need to actually download the 2017 templates instead of upgrading any files.

I will look for them on the web or simply from another computer that has "true 2017" files !!

SHAME ON YOU AUTODESK. THIS IS BASIC **** !!
