Need to set an hatch to a customized family

I created a family in model place and in the top view i would like to visualize that with an hatch section...

I can I do.

You can create filter and add comments as your parameter

Change the cut and surface pattern to hatch

When you add the word "HATCH" to the comments, the object will have pattern on it.

Alternatively, you can add inplace family material. First you edit the family.

Click on the material and map it to structural material

When you finish, you can add material and it will show up as cut material
