Move tool: Lock to single axis

Hello,

I'm trying to move an element in plan view to align with a nearby element. When moving the element it only allows me to constrain movement to X and Y axis, therefore if it is a small distance it aligns moving in the Y direction when I want it to align moving in the X direction.

Is there a way to set the constraint to a single axis?

In SketchUP you can use the arrow keys to lock the constraint to any axis. Is this not possible in Revit?

Thank you.

Uncheck "Constrain" and check "Disjoin" on the Options Bar. .
