how to make the mullion continuous to the vertical mullion? it was a edit profile curtain wall. thanks

Can't do it while in edit profile sketch mode. Close out and toggle mullion join

It's a curtain wall mullion?  You didn't model it in place by any chance?

yes its a mullion model thru a profile. thanks

So you did model it as an IN-PLACE COMPONENT?  If so, you are out of luck then.  Why don't you just use the profile to define a new Mullion Type and apply that Mullion Type to the Curtain Wall Grid? That way, you'll have the controls I mentioned above.

This is a tough one. I found the best solution was to Split the Wall -- NOT Edit it's Profile -- making it into two separate Walls; one on top of the other. Once Split, I changed the length of the ground floor Wall, and made the necessary mullion modifications.

p.s. What happened to the System Empty Panel?

Here is a version not using edit profile, but remove the lower grid segment and change the lower panel to Empty (I transferred it from the Metric Template).

My way: Wall Area=1983 m2

Your way: Area= Wall 2130 m2

Difference: 147 m2

ok i got ,it but how you did it. you make it as one curtain wall and change it to empty panel (below), what happen to the grid ? did you remove? how you add the empty panel? can you please explain. thank you

- You can TAB select a grid and use Add/Remove Segment from the toolbar and click on the Segment(s) you want to remove.  That will remove the mullion(s) and merge the panels

- Select the merged panels, unpin, and change them to Empty System Panel to remove them

- You can select a row of mullion on a grid line and Make Continuous or Break as you like
