Hi,

I linked a cad file to my Revit model now I am trying to change the line weight and line pattern of a line.

the pattern is changing when I change it in the visibility and graphic overrides but the line weight is not changing no matter what number I change it to.

please help me with what I am doing wrong what do I need to change so it makes the changes that I want it to make.

Are you trying to change under the VGO/Imported tab?  Probably the linework is not set to BYLAYER in the CAD.  Open CAD directly and change linework to BYLAYER.

I checked the Cad File the lines are set to by layer for the line type and line weight everything is by layer and it still doesn't change in revit

Post the CAD file. I'll take a look at it.

seems to be working here. What layer linework are you trying to change?

...Maybe it's changing, but it's unnoticed because of view scale?

not every element in the CAD is set to BYLAYER.  Window-select the whole enchilada, and change from *VARIES* to BYLAYER.
