RPC tree render appearance showing as a box

After I updated to revit 2020 my RPC tree appearances are showing up as a box.  I uninstalled revit 2018 and 2019 from my computer so I do not know if that had anything to do with it.  Please let me know how to fix this problem. Thank you

You tried all 3 solutions including the Archvision plugin?

Why Revit build do you have? (can you try to update to 2020.2 and install all the hot fixes?

Are you missing content in the drop-down under "Render Appearance Library" in the Planting Families? If so, open a support case with Autodesk through your account portal. We had the same issue with our 2020 installs. It took an Autodesk technician two remote sessions to fully resolve. The fix was convoluted. I can't begin to recount the steps.

I do have Revit 2020. I have not tried the archvision plugin. I will try it and see if that works.

Is there a way to post the steps?

Barth may have a point there...it could be that your revit installation is missing the Low/Medium/High resolution material libraries.

Go to windows control panel and check the list under manage/add/remove apps ... they should be listed there....if not you can download them by repairing the installation using the 3 Parts installer from https://ava.autodesk.com

No, sorry.  It wasn't documented. Frankly, I don't think the techs had a clear course of action when they were doing their remote troubleshooting. They seemed to be winging it.  The crux of the issue, as I recall, had to do with the RPC folder not being found -- or that the wrong one was being found.  Whatever. You ought to open up a support case. Turn-around time is typically only a couple of days -- at least in our experience.
