Lights and Ceiling issue?

I'm getting this error message when I'm trying to add a door switch to a wall

None of the created elements are visible in Reflected Ceiling Plan: Level 0 View. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and Visibility settings, as well as any Plan Regions and their settings.

With your family and view settings you are going to place a family in the view. However after placement the object will not be visble due to the parameter/view settings.

This happens for instance when you place a family with default elevation of 2500 mm while your view range is from  0-1500 mm.

While you are allowed to place the element it will not show up in the current view (outside view range).

So it is not a real error but just a warning.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

You can:
- Go to a Floor Plan to place the switch.
- Turn on Floor Plan underlay for the RCP and place the switch from on RCP
- Adjust view range of the RCP to cover you switch (but it may affects other visibility of the view)
