how can we downgrade 2019 to 2016

Hi, I am using Revit 2019 but our client using 2016 version? how can we downgrade 2019 to 2016?

You can't.

One option is to export your model as an IFC file, which can be opened by an earlier version, but information will be lost, so you will have to rebuild from there.

oh, is there any solution that we can save 2016 file and client can save 2019 file?

If you started your model in Revit 2016 then you can save and open it into Revit 2017, 2018, 2019/2020 but if you model started in Revit 2019 you can't open it in Revit 2016, 2017 and 2018, Check your Autodesk reseller in your area, ask them if you can purchase Revit 2016 or Check with Autodesk website. As I understand you cannot do that.I had the same problem. It is a shame.

If you are on subscription you might be able to download and use 2016, but it is outside of the "supported" releases, so you would need to get special permission. You will need to talk with your re-seller and you maybe able to get 2016, but only for special cases typically.
