Download the pyRevit plugin

You can draw patterns in a project using detail lines then assign them to a material or export them as a .pat file to import to other projects.

Hey @Anonymous - Can you reply here or email us hi@pattycake.io with what wasn't quite working? And thanks @indiana_j0nes for the shout out.

Testing it out on our end it seems to work (see below). You can also adjust angle degree to keep reiterating any size / rotation you need while seeing a live update and just simply click [download] to get the PAT file already formatted.

Quick note: This current Calculator Template can only handle whole divisible segments but in our Version 01 launch coming <1 week, we have updated to allow fractional remainders between width and length 😎

As a note for the community: We know that the herringbone pattern is one of the most requested PAT patterns on this forum. As a big thank you to the community and everyone helping develop this program and provide feedback, we are going to unlock the herringbone calculator template in version 01 to be completely free! All you'll need is a free account to access the calculator and you can then reiterate and save countless herringbone creations. (this in addition to over 350+ free PAT patterns).
