Hi @Anonymous

Welcome to the Autodesk community! Thanks for posting on our forum.

  • Are you on windows 10?
  • Check if the disk on which the SQL Server is trying to create the database has enough free space.
  • This error message is issued by the SQL Server when it can't create database files.
  • Upgrade MS SQL server and please follow the instructions in the Vault help Upgrade MS SQL Server and MS SQL Express.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Let me do some research on this issue and get back to you.

Meanwhile, please confirm if you have the latest build of Revit.

Hi @Anonymous

Can you share the Revit file and the latest journal file to investigate further?

I can send you a private folder to upload.

Meanwhile, can you check the memory, it's possible that you get an error of this kind if you are low on server memory.

Hello,

I have Revit 2018 and Windows 10 and I have the exact same problem. Db link always shows this message. I have more than enough place in my hard drive, I also tried to export to another hard drive, to a flsh disc, no matter where it always displays this message.

I would apreciate any solution to this issue.

Thank you.

Were you able to solve the problem, icasares?

I'm getting the same error.

One solution that i found that solved this problem for a fews days was:

Download and install Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable.

I found the installer file on Microsoft's website

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13255

Unfortunetally this solution worked for a few days only and now i'm searching for more solutions.

Hello Arthur,

I could solve the problem installing an AccesDatabaseEngine_x64_v2010. With this database DB-Link is still working.

I hope it helps...
