Displaying Tag annotation in the background of a view

Is there a way to have room, space, and other tags text show up in the background of a view?  The text label is set to be transparent, but the text itself is still in the foreground.

For example, in the attached image we'd like to show the CHILLER ROOM text for the room tag show behind the piping that the text currently covers; circled in red.

If not, any work around recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Are the Room Tags in your model or from a link?

If they are in your model, there is nothing you can do because annotations always sit on top of model elements.  Not to mention when you print out, grey bits tend to stay on top of black ones.  Best thing you can do is change the Tags to back.

If they are in a link, try change the link instance to underlay see if that helps.

hello
the only solution here is to write it by yourself using the annotation then you can change the transparency .or to try to change the transparency of the room tag itself .
to change the transaprency right click on the element the override and choose element .
