Tagging elements in a linked RVT model which was recently updated

Hi,

I was tagging doors (by type) that are part of a linked rvt model but I noticed that the type was wrong and needed editing. I then went and edited the doors accordingly as well as a few other general things in the linked rvt model directly and reloaded it to the host. Even though all the other changes were assimilated by the host, the door tags still show the old door type (prior to editing). If instead I tag directly in the linked model, the tag is correct.

I am a beginner Revit user so please excuse me if I am missing something elemental. I would appreciate any advise regarding this issue.

Thanks!

JF

Quick follow-up:

I have fixed the problem by loading a new door tag family. Now it updates as soon as an updated rvt link is reloaded.

Hope this helps someone...
