Cannot log into Autodesk from Revit 2021

Cannot log into Autodesk from Revit 2021.
- The login is button is enabled but when I click on it nothing happens, not even an error message.
- But the Render From Cloud button is enabled even though I'm not logged in. Isn't it supposed to be grayed out? When I click on that nothing happens as well.
- Otherwise the app works just fine, including regular Render.
- I went to the Autodesk site from my browser to make sure that I could log in to Autodesk and yes, no problems. But I didn't think that was an issue anyway, as the problem seems to be a technical issue from within the app.
- An interesting side note - the login button on Revit always appears in an Asian language (Chinese or Japanese) so I have to pulldown the menu for English. The app was installed in English.
- I just tried the sign in button from within AutoCad as well. Same nothing happens.

Can someone help me??

This definitely sounds like an issue with the Autodesk Single Sign-On component based on the fact that both AutoCAD and Revit are impacted so I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the Autodesk Single Sign On Component:

  1. Navigate to Control Panel > Uninstall a program.
  2. Find the Autodesk Single Sign On Component and uninstall it.
  3. Remove the folders:
    C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\AdSSO
    C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Autodesk AdSSO
    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk AdSSO
  4. Navigate to the software installation media (e.g., for AutoCAD it would be C:\Autodesk\AutoCAD_2020_English_Win_64bit_dlm).
  5. Open the folder ...\x64\AdSSO.
  6. Run the AdSSO.msi and let the installation complete.

Hi Tony,

I am currently experiencing the same issue above, except that I can sign in to Autodesk in Autocad. I cannot log in to Autodesk in Revit2021. The solution you mentioned is not applicable to me as I don't have the Autodesk Single Sign On component. So I have nothing to uninstall.

Hope you can help me resolve this issue.

I'm also having this sign in issue with Revit 2021 (Asian characters and no response to sign in) but not with AutoCAD 2020. Has a solution been found yet?
