Can't select linked model

I cannot select linked Revit models. It is NOT an issue with my selection settings, you can see I have Select Links toggled on.

When I hover on a link, it shows a pre-selection box but when I click it, I cannot modify it in any way. It does show the green modify bar but the properties of the view remain, instead of the properties of the link.

I have encountered this in Revit 2019 and 2021.

Try selecting the Link in the Project Browser.

Check off the exclude options and see if you are able to select the link

Modify it how?

What are you wanting to Modify?

Maybe Room Bounding, or Phase Mapping?

Ah! I misread the OPs screenshot. I thought it was showing Link Properties. There not too much after that except what you mentioned.

Halfway there, the properties showed up but everything is greyed out. I tried Right-click>Make Element Editable to no avail...
