2D wheel not closing

Peace to everyone. I'm having an issue that my 2D Navigation wheel has came on my screen out of nowhere and now it's not getting closed. First it kept on blinking on screen with the message "press shift+w to show/hide the wheel" and Shift+w wasn't working either to close it. I pressed SHIFT and it stopped blinking and then I tried to close it (by clicking the drop-down symbol on right bottom of 2D wheel on my main screen) but didn't find any success. I reset the wheel setting too but didn't work too. I have very important college project and this isn't allowing me to do any work. Quick reply would be very appreciated.

P.S: I am using Revit 2016

Did you try updating Revit?

Perhaps its a bug which was fixed in a later hotfix.

I dont have 2016 to re-create this issue.

Not upgrade to 2017 or 19 but Apply hotfix to 2016.

Chk the link above.

Cheers, let us know.

I had a issue with the project browser that was similar to this.

Try to repair the revit.

It worked for me.

Was your keyboard stuck? Try to click all the Ctrl, Shift and Alt keys?
Did the little “x” on the top right work?
