Your model needs to be upgraded from Autodesk Revit 2009 or earlier

I am receiving a pop up stating "Your model needs to be upgraded from Autodesk Revit 2009 or earlier to Autodesk Revit 2018. How would you like to proceed?". I then choose to upgrade the model and receive another pop up error that states "The file Grid Intersection.rfa was saved in a later version of Revit and cannot be retrieved in this version.". Does that me this file is too old or too new? Saved in 2009 or 2019?

So, I think the 2009 warning is a false alert. I've seen it before but haven't for quite a while. It was either fixed in an update or I just haven't come across what was causing it before.

Have you tried opening the file with 2019? Does the 2009 warning come up?

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Can confirm, it’s a later version file. (2019 or 2020)
