i am sure most of the user modify their intermediate results table. at the moment we have to redefine this with every installation. or when a sdy has bad intermediate results we have to define it again by hand. a import possibility would be useful.

Maximum Minimum values from the results scale should be available to copy. This feature should work with All Frames / Per frame / Specified Scales. for e.g. when I click button on scale to copy values, it should copy Max. and Min. values and when we paste these values it should show Like below. (243.4, -237.1) Deg. Please consider Hybrid meshing (i.e.: 3 D Hot runner with midplane or dual domain part meshes). Please bear in mind that some special hot runner nozzles cannot be modeled with Beam elements. Therefore a solver technique with 3D hot runner combined with midplane or dual domain part meshes would be valuable.

Valve gating for 3D Hot runners is actually not possible.

As you know, one of the key advantage of the 3D solver is to design the true 3D geometry without any "simplification", and to get the true flow behavior into the melt channel geometry (cold or hot runner) Unfortunately, you can really use the occurrence # for 3D solver, especially if we want to considerate the imbalance flow causing by the shear thinning into the channels intersections. Then, a complete model should be meshed which is painful for computation time for high # of cavitation's. Would it be possible to add this feature and/or to add an hybrid model 2D/3D/2D at the split of the channels?

after a initial phase the solver could give a estimated simulation time. this time could be given to the job manager. when running several jobs the job manager could give a estimation when the next slot is free

since the time of switch over is often not known before simulation an option would be nice to do this automatically by reaching the switch over point while still maintaining other options for example open valve gate at ram pos x mm close valve gates at switch over open at 20s

After the warp analysis a small deformation analysis for setting the fixation points to 0 would be nice. This would be a great benefit because the alternative is to rerun the whole study with general constraints …..

Hi all, I wonder if the Moldflow can simulate this problem. I'm studying the thin-film plastic deformation under the compression moulding. I want to see how it buckles and trap the air in the socket between the buckled section and then the pressure that presses everything together and remove the air in the space. Is it possible to simulate in COMSOL? This is the deformation shape of the actual film with inadequate pressure at the compression stage. It is unsatisfied cross section.

When setting a Gate contact diameter in solver parameters (for 3D mesh type), tab Fill+Pack, it would be nice to have an shadowed area of size in the Synergy UI. Related to: Display actual gate contact diameter in the log Regards, Berndt

In the current Moldflow RHCM analysis, when hot water is used, the hot water uses the saturated, pressurize water of the steam table so the user cannot change it. It would be nice to have the option to change the saturated, pressurized water in the hot water for the same analysis as in the real working environment.

3D Overmolding solver Improvements to the "Re-melt zone, overmolded components" 1. Add the optional scaling by desired Temp threshold (instead of using just Tg) 2. Add a new result like "Thickness of re-melt zone" (max sphere algorithm would be fine)
