Xgen Error, Sequence Render

I am trying to render a character with xgen description. Every time I do a sequence render(300 frames), the rendering happens properly for about 6~7 frames and then the render stops and maya freezes. The output window gives the following error

XGen:O OppenCenCL Lerror ErroCL_EXEC_STATUS_ERROR_FOR_EVENTS_IN_WAIT_LISTr
: >Unknown error executing CL_COMMAND_NDRANGE_KERNEL on Quadro M2000 (Device 0).
S
:\Maya_2017_DOIp\src\MayaenCL\ Error:s rc\AWplugins\XGen\Unknown src\xgen\src\xgsceulptcrror executing CL_COMMAND_RELEASE_GL_OBJECTS on Quadro M2000 (Device 0).
o
re\XgOpenCLUtil.cpp(497): error: 'xgutil::enqueueReleaseHWObjects'

I am using Maya 2017 Update 3.

My GPU is Quadro M2000 and running the latest driver which support OpenCL.

Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community!

What version of Maya are you on and is it up to date, also are all your drivers for your GPU etc. up to date? If so you can try deleting your settings and preferences to see if that changes anything.

    Hope this helps!

Hi Sean,

I am using Maya 2017, update 3 and all the GPU Drivers are up to date as well. Deleting all the Maya Preferences and re-setting the project was the first thing I did but unfortunately that did not solve the issue.

Initially, I was referencing the character and the sequence render was freezing after 6-7 frames. After that, I imported the objects into the scene. At first it looked like the problem was solved because it didn't freeze after the usual 6-7 frames, but eventually after 50 frames it froze again.
Although, with batch rendering this problem doesn't occur.

That sounds like a memory leak in interactive rendering. Could you supply an example scene that has this problem for testing?

Hi Michael,

Unfortunately, since I cannot provide the scene file as the source files are a property of someone else, but upon buying more licenses for Arnold Render I've been able to render it through batch rendering without a watermark. I shall try to re-create another scene and if it shows up the same error I can shall upload that scene.

Thank You

I'm still looking into it but did Arnold rendering work for you?

Yes, Arnold rendering worked perfectly fine for me. Using the batch render or still rendering , I had no issues at all.
