Im using maya's xgen and I made a clumping modifier and wanted to create a mask to stop certain areas from clumping and the 3d paint tool wasn't work and i believe it is because i mapped two parts of the model in separate UDIM tiles, is there any way to get 3D paint brush to work with UDIM for simplicity?
Hi @Bryant4863
Masks in Xgen are ptex based and Maya only uses one UV tile to bake the color into ptex.
I believe if you wanted to bake out a map using UDIM you would need to use a different program like Mudbox/3DCoat etc.
