Get part coordinates and orientation in an Inventor assembly

Hi all,

I need to get the position and orientation of each part in my assembly. As far as I know using the forum search I need the ComponentOccurrences.Transformation property.

The values represent the offset from the assembly coordinate system to every part coordinate system, right?

My problem is that the above mentioned property contains only x,y,z-values for the translation but no values (not even a property) for rotation. I read in another thread that there should be information on the orientation though.

Pretty sure there is another property of the matrix you can use. Or just accessing the cells 1x1. In the API help (file: *ad_mapi* in windows explorer) it gives a rundown of the matrices and such and how to access the various values.
