We start to have problem with jpg's which we using as texture. They attached to models and drawings. We do have iLogics to remove them but what cause that to say new model few of them just attached and make problem. Is it here way to stop them to appear. Here is screen shot of what I'm talking.

Please ASAP if somebody know how to prevent this. Also it create new Library texture folder in Vault

1 use the link button to remove them.
2 save as idw then save as dwg file or reversed should remove them.

It is not problem to remove them. It is problem that they are start to att.to models. What cause this, and how to prevent of not happening? it is really annoying.

Vault seems to be re-attaching the items to the files!

Have you tried this button?

Have you tried to remove them without the vault add in loaded?

I will take a look if I can reproduce the problem and look for a solution.

For my understanding:

The items have been added manually by the engineer or how are they added (linked)?

Start new part and jpg linked by itself somehow. That is my question  how this happening.

Yes we remove them that is not problem to do. Problem is now on all files they linking them

What version of inventor are you using

All service packs are installed for inventor and vault?

Is your template kind of infected with the linked files already?

Yes everything is ok all updates. It start happening few days ago. Never happened before, and that is why I alarmed.

Template infected hmm interesting but how to fix? Make another?

Yes try a new template.
Or take a look if the template already have linked files!
You can simply open the template file to take a look at. I do not mean create new file from template, but really open it from the template directory.

Yes template was infected .ipt,. Removed and hope they won't come back. Still confused how they get infected.#@!

Tip
Make your template folder protected!
Or at least readonly
