I am trying to add a custom iproeprty to a part list through styles and through the part list, non of which are working. The custom properties in question are one called gkp_Appearances and gkp_Materials which grab the material and finish from the drop down material and finish lists. Can someone help
Have you used add custom properties in the part list configuration?

If you mean add custom property and typing it exactly within part list column then yes I have tried this. But if not can you explain further
You need to do that in the styles of the parts list. What you did was adding columns but not connected to I props.

apologies, I released only an iprop will appear and not a parameter, and you can only tick to export a parameter if it is numerical and not text, going around it another way with ani logic rule, and event trigger, thanks guys.
Just checking work flow. You went to Styles and Standards Editor, Found the Parts List you were wanting to use Clicked on Column Chooser > Add Appearance > Add Material> Save and Close. Those properties are already defined in the list. You don't need to duplicate it in a custom property. But If you need to use custom properties, in the column chooser make sure to define the custom property names that you used in your custom iProperties. Once added, if you had the parts list up when making the change, make sure to cycle the parts list to refresh it to see the changes.
