Ribbon data saved

Hi,

I am in the process of making a ribbon for my work. When it is finished I want to share it with colleagues. Now I know that I that I can export the ribbon and the other can import it. I want to skip this step and immediately edit the file where inventor stores the ribbon data. However, I cannot find the location where Inventor gets this data from.

Does anyone know where this is or how I can find it?

Are you talking about creating a ribbon through a custom Add-in or just through Inventor itself?

Thank you for your response. I already had that suspicion, only then I don't get it.

If I modify something in the ribbon, no file is updated there. So if I e.g. add a macro to the ribbon, the 'date modified' all remain the same...
