Is it possible to half section parts via the API ?

I thought it would be easy to create some one click buttons in my toolbar for half sectioning through parts and assemblies at the origin planes. It can be a pain to constantly scroll long feature trees to find the origin folder.

It looks like the 'AssemblyHalfSectionViewCmd' should work for assemblies but I could find nothing for parts.

Does anyone know if there is a method for half sectioning parts via the API.
