Browser Name Part Number are not the same

Hi.

After some content center editing the part number does not match the description in the browser.

I can manually open, double click, delete the description & then refresh & all is well, the new part number is displayed in the browser.

Is there a way to do this by code?

Only a few thousand cc parts to go through.

Thanks

In the Content Center Editor you can Map to a Inventor Property.
If you would like to have the File name in the browser, you should map the File Name Column to Project.Description

Thanks Robert

It's working ok on new parts.

It's editing existing parts where the issue occurs - sorry, should of mentioned that.

Open the assembly where the error is in.
Then use Refresh from the Content Center toolbar under Manage.

Thanks again.

I have tried that - the lower screen shot shows the BOM information is upto date.

The Part number information in the browser does not match the BOM.

This is the issue.

I've seen it before, think it's a known issue, just wondering if work around is possible.

Using Productivity Tools > Rename Browser Nodes doesn't work?
