Inappropriate cross-sectional image when using a Detail View.

Inappropriate cross-sectional image when using a Detail View.

Problem: The scale of the hatching changes relative to the parent view and has to be changed manually (or with iLogic Rule) each time.

According to the ISO and DSTU standards given in the textbooks, the hatching should be the same as in other images of this part.

When you build a section with a scale, the hatching is performed correctly (just like on the parent view).

The main problem is that when we use scaling views, we should have the same approach to hatching.
Now (including the latest version of IV2025.1), when building sections with scaling in/out, the hatching scale does not change (A-A), but when building a hatching element in Detail View (B), it does (see Fig. below).

This difference cannot be explained; the hatching scale in the enlarged views should be the same.

I think, there should be an auto-scale option for hatches of drawing views depending on the scale of the view.

In addition, a hatch pattern in a detail view created from a section view seems always wrong. It can even be seen as a single line as a quasi-hatch pattern. Its scale should be (1 / ScaleOfDetailView).

I can not believe, that this important fuction is not present in a professional program.

We discussed this request but it is unclear what the request is. Today, you can control/change drawing hatch scale by modifying the hatch pattern used by the active standard. All view hatch scales can be modified by editing the style.

Detail views hatch stale is increased based on the scale difference which indicate it is a magnification of the area. If this is undesired please repost an idea specific to detail views.

Thanks

Sure. And you'll answer me in 10 years!

The main problem is to have a uniform approach to hatching when scaling species.

Now (including checked in the latest version IV2025.1) when building cross-sections with increase/decrease, the hatching scale does not change (А-А), and when building a detail view (B) - it changes (see figure).

This difference cannot be explained, the hatching scale on the enlarged views should be the same.

Of course, this can be edited manually (or using the iLogic rule), but it is unclear why this is not in the basic version of the program.

What may help drive home the goal of this request, is to show an additional drawing sheet with how the hatched views should look.
