Drawing View Margin (Reference Data) - Make Available in API

I was told on the Inventor customization that the Margin value was not exposed in the API so it can not be changed. I have a great need to change the margin to see more drawing components that are referenced. And reference components are not taken into consideration in the drawing view for the API. 

If we could make Margin for drawing views available in the API for ilogic/VBA, this would be the solution so we can change the margin in code. 

I also noticed that many of the other "Referenced Data" information is not available in the API. And having it would be very helpful!

I am pretty sure that you can already change the drawing view margins. I must not be understanding your idea.

@Jason.RuggI have a large assembly with both normal and reference models. When the drawing view is created the drawing view consists of mainly the normal models and I need to increase the margins of the view to incorporate some of the reference models. Just adding a link here to my very similar, related idea, that was also created around a month later than this one.  It is about wanting to access some of the same settings on the same tab of the drawing view dialog.

This idea has been implemented within Autodesk Inventor 2024.2. Please review the Inventor 2024.2 API Help document.

Yay!  With this progress, Inventor drawing automation just gained another tool in its toolbox, and users are now able to advance another step up the staircase towards their complete drawing automation goals.

Now a whole host of us who do not have administrative rights on our own work computers, due to corporate security policies, must once again begin the familiar but annoying task of requesting that our Autodesk software get updated, by some disinterested IT professionals that also think that the task of upgrading our Autodesk software as an annoyance.  Yay...(not) 🙄😔

@WCrihfield In the same boat. Currently on 21. 😞 I hope one day they will do a patch on previous versions so we can use these additions. But until that happens let the fight with IT begin!
