Text height does not match Text Style when creating a View

Hi there,

I have changed my Text Height to 1.75mm in the Styles Editor for my drawing Template. However when I create a Detail View or Section View the Format Text Height always automatically appears as 3.5mm. When I right click on the text box and click on styles editor, it says it is 1.75mm? However when I double click on the text the size is 3.5mm. How can I make it so when I create the view it will always come up as 1.75mm automatically.

I am aware I can change the text by highlighting it and changing the font size, however I shouldn't have to do this given that the style is 1.75mm.

When you are in the styles, did you change the text style called out in your view annotations?

Hi! This sounds like text style out of sync issue. If you cannot figure how to fix it, please attach an example idw/dwg here. Forum experts should be able to help.

I did do that. However it still wasn't working which was wierd. I found that if I went into the 'View Preferences' and selected the different view types, I could alter the text height there. It was strange considering when I clicked on styles editor it took me to a different part of the styles.

I didn't think that post would help as I was not working with block template. Rather when I create a different view (ie: Detail or Section) the format text would not match. The styles were all the 1.75mm as I showed in the photos however the text was 3.5mm. Regardless I managed to figure it out. It was under the view preferences tab.
