Project Cutting Edge Redefine

Hi,

Is there a possibility to Redefine the "Project Cutting Edge" Within the Inventor Sketch environment.

For example I have created a sketch based on invisible geometry in the inventor part.

Now the geometry will not be available in the sketch using the "Project Cutting Edge".

Afterwards/later that day I would  like to have also the invisible geometry available in the sketch.

I make the geometry visible and now i would like to update the "Project Cutting Edge" definition and add the now visible geometry. The only option is to create a new "Project Cutting Edge" but this adds also a new feature to the sketch.

Yes. You can.

You don't have to redifine the Project comand, but the Sketch (just re-choosing the same plane)

But when the second solid is extruded as surface this doesn't work, or am I missing something?

Sorry, you didn't mention that we were speaking about surfaces

Just delete the projected feature and redo it again. Quite quick

Thanks, but that will be no option for me because I use the projected already.
Maybe this is something for the Idea station.

No it was already there, but it was set Invisible!

I don't understand where is the problem in adding a Project Cut Edges feature.

Hi @admaiora 

Every time the tree becomes a new feature and that is unnecessary.

With an update method this would be possible that the Project Cut Edges1 will be updated.
