Inventor 2024 installation problem - system requirements

Good morning,

I would like help installing Inventor 2024. I am currently using Inventor 2023 and would like to upgrade to a newer version. Unfortunately, when I install it, I get a message that I do not meet the minimum software requirements, although I have not found a difference between the newer and older program.

Parameters of my device:
Dell Precision 3510 - i7 6820hq, Radeon R9 M360 2GB, 16GB RAM, 128GB free disk space

I tried Windows troubleshooter but nothing changed.

I read a thread with the founder @Thegreatrandino, who had a similar problem and managed to solve it by overwriting the xml setup file.

Thank you all in advance for your tips

Could be that the graphic card is not listed and supported!

It's been a long time since I used inventor, I've moved to solidworks. I reviewed my notes and my original post and thread. I essentially solved my problem myself combining the help of MANY people. You may have to do the same. There may not be a step-by-step guide to fix the particular problem you are experiencing. I would suggest going back to that thread and following the instructions to completely remove Inventor. If you're brave, try deleting the registry entries as I did. Next modify the xml file. Use the attached xml file and modify to match your versions. For example replace 2022 with 2024. There may be extra lines in your xml that don't appear in this xml, I suspect these lines are problematic and should be remove.

Best of luck
Randino
